2. Information we collect when you visit our website
When you visit selenia.app we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, and time zone, through standard server logs. This information helps us maintain the security and performance of our website.
We may also use essential cookies to remember your language and display preferences during your visit. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
3. Information we collect in the app
Account: email address, password (stored encrypted).
Profile: name, year of birth, usage goal.
Health (sensitive data): cycle dates and duration, symptoms, mood, sexual activity, cervical mucus, basal body temperature, contraceptives, personal notes.
4. How we use your information
To show you cycle predictions and fertile window.
To generate personal statistics and charts.
To send you cycle notifications (if enabled).
To send verification and password recovery emails.
To maintain the security and performance of our website and app.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances: with service providers that host our infrastructure, strictly to operate the service; or when required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
We do not share your health data with any third party for commercial purposes.
6. Legal basis for processing
Processing of your health data is carried out solely with your explicit consent, given when you create your account. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account from Settings → Account → Advanced.
7. Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, all your personal and health data is permanently and immediately erased from our systems. Website server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days for security purposes.

Access your data: Settings → Account → Export my data.
Rectify your data from your profile.
Delete your account and all data: Settings → Account → Delete account.
Export in JSON or CSV format.
Withdraw consent for processing at any time by deleting your account.
9. Minors
Selenia is designed for anyone who menstruates, including adolescents. We only ask that users be at least 13 years old, in line with standard data protection requirements. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will delete their data promptly.
10. Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are stored encrypted. All connections use TLS. We do not store payment data. We regularly review our security practices to protect your information.
11. Changes
We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you inside the app at least 15 days in advance.
